Our aim
We aim for this site to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA, and we hold the sites we build for clients to the same standard. We check pages against it as we build, by keyboard, with reduced motion and at small screen sizes. This statement describes our own checks; it is not a certification.
What we do
- Every page starts with a skip link to the main content, and links, buttons and fields show a visible focus indicator when you reach them with a keyboard.
- Form fields have labels. Errors are explained in words, and the request form announces each step to screen readers.
- If your device is set to reduce motion, animations stop, films show a still image and the arrival chime stays silent.
- The moving globe on the home page has a pause button. Films play without sound and only while they are on screen.
- The cabin lighting switch in the header gives you a darker view of every page.
- The departure board's sound can be turned off for your visit.
- Images carry text descriptions; purely decorative ones are hidden from screen readers.
Known limitations
- Looping films on case studies and guides have no pause button of their own. Turning on your device's reduced-motion setting stops them.
- Some case study pages move pictures as you scroll. Reduced motion turns this off.
- Text set over the painted sky at the top of pages can be harder to read at some times of day. The cabin lighting switch helps.
- The booking calendar after a request is provided by Google, and we can't change how it works. If it doesn't work for you, write to us and we will find a time by email.
Tell us
If anything on this site doesn't work for you, write to and tell us what you were trying to do. We will fix it, or get you what you need another way.
